Our Story
Who are the Perfect Circle Celebrants?
Lynn and Maxine are the Perfect Circle Celebrants. As two colleagues turned friends, we believe that every ceremony begins with connection. We bring warmth, creativity, and genuine care to every moment we craft.
After years of working side by side in school leadership, we discovered that what made us a great team in education — connection, creativity, and genuine care for people — also makes us the perfect pair in celebrancy.
We bring warmth, professionalism, and a shared passion for storytelling to every ceremony we create. Whether it’s a wedding, naming day, or celebration of life, we combine our skills to craft meaningful moments that truly reflect the people at the heart of each occasion.
You can be rest assured that we will always be there for you to celebrate and honour your loved one exactly the way you want to: with honesty, dignity and compassion.
We may have left the world of education, but we’re still inspiring, guiding, and celebrating — together.
OUR APPROACH
Our approach is warm, compassionate, and deeply personal. We take the time to listen, to understand, and to craft ceremonies that truly capture the essence of the people they celebrate.
YOUR CEREMONY
We will guide you through life’s important moments with warmth, understanding, and a deep respect for your story.
RANGE OF SERVICES
We offer the following services crafted to your wishes: Funeral Ceremonies, Wedding Ceremonies, Naming Ceremonies and Vow Renewal Ceremonies
TRAINED & CERTIFIED
We are both trained and accredited by The Academy of Professional Celebrants. We are expertly trained and insured, with a strong focus on equality and inclusion.
Why choose us?
Two celebrants. One perfect circle.
The unique benefit of choosing Perfect Circle Celebrants is that you get two dedicated professionals working together for you. We provide:

Together, we will choose the celebrant which best suits the tone and feel of your wedding, celebration of life, naming day or special occasion – the choice is entirely yours.
- Continuity and peace of mind — should unforeseen circumstances arise, one of us will always be there to step in seamlessly, ensuring your ceremony goes ahead smoothly and stress-free.
- High availability — with two celebrants, we can offer greater flexibility with dates, times, and locations, making it easier to plan your ceremony around what matters most to you.
- Collaborative creativity — we bring two sets of eyes, ears, and hearts to every ceremony, combining our ideas and experience to craft something that feels truly personal, polished, and meaningful.

Meet Lynn & Maxine
Meet Maxine:
My name is Maxine Apcher and I love spending time with my family; my two fabulous grown-up children and my wonderful wife (of over 30 years!).
I love hearing about and passing on family stories, traditions and the little quirks that make all our lives sparkle with interest and intrigue!
For us, our family also includes some of our incredible friends – our chosen family – who we cherish as our loved ones and who take pride of place at all our family events. Our loved ones help us feel grounded and give us our sense of belonging in the world. A world which can constantly challenge us!
Throughout my career in education, my passion has always been to include others and make them feel valued. It was a privilege and honour to have known so many wonderful, diverse families – each with their own special stories and characters. I absolutely loved getting to know them all and helping them in any way I can – whether it was through support for special educational needs, parenting, mental health or support with accessing essential services.
From time to time, our relationships with family and friends can be delicate or complicated; and with this in mind, whenever I meet a new family, I always try my best to be sensitive and never make assumptions.
We all want to belong. We all want to feel valued. And we all want to have our life stories treasured.
I would absolutely welcome the honour of helping you to celebrate and treasure your family stories – whether through a celebration of a new life, a new identity, a new relationship or celebrating a life well lived.
Meet Lynn:
My name is Lynn Willis, and I’m a celebrant who believes that every life deserves to be honoured and that every story deserves to be told with warmth, care, and authenticity.
I’m lucky to share my life with my husband of over 30 years, our three incredible children, and two cats who complete our lively, love-filled home. Family has always been at the centre of who I am — not just my own, but the wonderful, diverse families I’ve been privileged to meet and celebrate with.
For me, “family” extends far beyond bloodties. It includes our dearest friends — our chosen family — who walk alongside us through every milestone and memory. They remind us that belonging isn’t just about where we come from, but about who makes us feel at home in the world.
Before becoming a celebrant, I spent my career in education, working closely with families from all walks of life. I was always drawn to the stories that make each person unique — stories of love, resilience, and connection. That experience taught me the importance of listening attentively, respecting every individual’s journey, and creating spaces where everyone feels seen, valued, and included.
As a celebrant, I bring that same care and understanding to every ceremony I create. Whether it’s welcoming a new life, celebrating a partnership, affirming a new identity, or honouring a life beautifully lived, I work closely with you to craft a ceremony that feels truly personal and meaningful.
Every story matters. Every life deserves celebration. And it would be my privilege to help you tell yours — with warmth, respect, and joy.
